LRDS takes time to show you each move and works with
each individual person to make sure they understand.
In addition, the techniques taught seems more modern
by keeping up to date with what is hot in the Salsa
scene.
I was taking classes at another studio before hearing
about Latin Rhythms. One day, I saw two of the instructors
perform and was impressed. Then, a friend recommended
them to me after also taking lessons at my old studio
and Latin Rhythms as well. I decided to give them a
shot and after my first Latin Rhythms class I realized
that something was wrong with my dancing, so I took
a private lesson. That one lesson helped me tremendously
by helping me perfect the "marking" technique,
and by getting rid of some bad habits with my footwork
and counting.
Latin Rhythms has shown me how to listen to the music,
lead, and count my steps better. The moves taught are
a lot of fun, easy to remember, and looks very impressive.
Almost always when I see a Salsa contest held at a club,
it is a Latin Rhythms instructor who wins.
